HARVESTING THE HARVESTERS!
The amount of the harvest will be according to how many harvesters
are out in the field! - Bob Jones
�The harvest is plentiful, but the workers (harvesters) are
few. So pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers
(harvesters) into His harvest� (Matthew 9:37-38 AMP).
In Luke 5:4 Jesus says, �launch out into the deep and let your nets
down for a catch� (NKJV).
The anointing of harvest is for gathering. The Lord is releasing the
grace to harvest the harvesters. There is a gathering of a next
generation of Elisha�s who will walk in a double portion of what we
have, if we will release it. It is time to gather the harvesters that
will harvest millions. It is a fresh season of anointing for
discipleship and multiplication.
God wants to give us a net that works (network). First, to network
those who can mobilize, equip, and train others for the work of
ministry. Not only must we prepare for a harvest of souls, but we must
also prepare to disciple those who come into the kingdom of our Lord
Jesus Christ. We are not called to just �win souls,� we are called to
make disciples of all nations (see Matthew 28:19).
NEW BREED HARVESTERS
This season of gathering the harvesters is for the harvest at the end
of the age. I love this prophetic quote by Bob Jones:
The amount of the harvest will be according to how many harvesters
are out in the field. Our focus must be on impartation, equipping, and
releasing a generation of men and women who will demonstrate His
kingdom in love and power. - Bob Jones
We need to remember that the greater ministry is what we impart to
others.
God is now releasing the angels that gather and reap the harvest.
These same angels remove every hindrance and obstacle to the harvest.
One aspect of the angels� roles, as we see in Hebrews 1:14, is to
minister to those who will inherit salvation. In other words, angels
are directly involved in the harvest. God is raising up and releasing
a new grace and mantle for those called to international crusade
platforms and to see citywide revivals like Philip.
�Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.
Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah
there. When the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed,
they all paid close attention to what he said. For with shrieks,
impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame
were healed. So there was great joy in that city� (see Acts 8:4-8).
�The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is
the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the
kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; and the enemy who
sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and
the reapers are angels. So just as the tares are gathered up and
burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man
will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom
all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw
them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and
gnashing of teeth. Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in
the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear� (Matthew
13:37-43).
These Scriptures come to my mind when praying about the great harvest
in America and around the world.
�The earth is the Lord�s, and all the fullness thereof; the world,
and they that dwell therein� (Psalm 24:1 KJV).
�The kingdoms of this world HAVE become the kingdoms of our Lord and
of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!� (Revelation 11:15
NKJV)
We must have faith that whole cities and nations can be saved in a
day. The kingdoms of this world are His.
�Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, And are counted as
the small dust on the scales; Look, He lifts up the isles as a very
little thing� (Isaiah 40:15 NKJV).
�Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and
the ends of the earth for Your possession� (Psalm 2:8).
�Behold, the days are coming,� says the Lord, �When the plowman shall
overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The
mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow
with it� (Amos 9:13 NKJV).
True evangelism is the proclamation of the Gospel with a
demonstration of God�s love, reign, and rule of the kingdom on earth.
If the Gospel is the good news of the kingdom, then good works are the
signs of the kingdom. We need the word and works of Jesus!
